demand response, ski shuttles, seasonal trolley service and commuter express routes on the

The Summer 2010 Season
The BlueGO Nifty 50 Trolley has finished its 2009 Summer Season. Thank you for your patronage. Service will
resume again on Route 30 between South Y Transit Station and Tahoma via State Route 89 and Camp Richardson
Resort starting Saturday, May 22, 2010.
During the winter season, there is no public transit options available between the north shore and the south
shore via State Route 89 in California or State Route 28 in Nevada. A public transit connection between TART
and BlueGO along State Route 89 will not be available until Saturday, May 22, 2010.
Nifty 50 Trolley Route 30 operates every 60 minutes between South Y Transit Station via Tahoe Valley
Campground, Camp Richardson Resort and State Route 89 to Tahoma ending at PDQ Market with two trolley vehicles.
U.S. Forest Service facilities served includes Camp Richardson Resort, Pope Beach, Kiva Beach, Tallac Historic
Site, Valhalla, Baldwin Beach, U.S. Forest Service Visitor Center, Camp Richardson Horse Corrals, Eagle Falls
Trailhead, Vikingsholm, Inspiration Point, Meeks Bay Campground and Meeks Bay Resort.
Connections are available to TART in Tahoma for continued travel to Truckee, Tahoe City and Incline Village,
including west shore communities between Tahoma and Tahoe City. At the South Y Transit Station, connections
to other BlueGO and Amtrak California routes are possible.
Route 30 will operate every hour, with two trolleys between 9:00 am and 7:00 pm, seven days a week from
Saturday, May 22, 2010 to Monday, September 6, 2010 and then every Saturday and Sunday from September 11,
2010 to October 3, 2010 for 115 days.
Route 30 will depart South Y Transit Station every hour starting at 9:00 am, until the last departure at
6:00 pm. The trolley will depart Tahoma every hour starting at 10:00 am until the last departure at 6:00 pm.
The trolley will end its service day by 7:00 pm in South Lake Tahoe. Regular BlueGO fares will apply on this
